A member of the prestigious “Primum Familiae Vini” association, which brings together the 12 best producers in the world, Antinori is one of the largest and most prestigious wineries in Italy, founded in 1385.
Over the course of the long history of this legendary Italian company spanning 26 generations, the Antinori family has always run the company itself, continually experimenting with new methods of winemaking and fermentation. Between innovation and respect for traditions and the land, Antinori is currently under the direction of marquis Piero Antinori, assisted by his three daughters Albiera, Allegra and Alessia.
Exceptional Wines from Tuscany
In the image of wonderful wines that are legendary Solaia and Tignanello, Antinori produces high-quality, elegant and complex wines which frequently stand out by winning prestigious awards across the world.
Antinori’s production of red wines has historically been concentrated in Tuscany (Chianti Classico), where the winery owns three properties: Santa Cristina (Solaia and Tignanello), Pèppoli and Badia a Passignano, for a total of 1526 acres of vineyards.
The Tenuta Tignanello, which produces famous Solaia and Tignanello wines is located on Santa Cristina property. Located in Chianti Classico appellation between Montefiridolfi village & Santa Maria a Macerata village—30 kilometers away from Florence—the vineyard extends over 313 acres; with 25 acres dedicated to Solaia production.

Although mainly concentrated in Tuscany and Umbria (Castello della Sala), Antinori also owns several other estates across Italy as well as locations in United States, Hungary, Chile & Malta.
